Hey! Just a reminder that the Kid's Fish Day is the this Saturday April 22. The event starts at 1PM and continues until 4. The Upper Great Plains Chapter of Muskies Inc. , in partnership with the Sunrise Kiwanis Club of Spirit Lake, IA, is putting it on. I encourage you to get there early the first 100 kids are going to get a t-shirt. There will also be hotdogs, chips and soda available after the kids go through the stations. All kids from 6-12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
The kids will learn about tying knots, boat safety, wildlife art, baits and tackle, live bait, casting, fish identification, and the DNR will have an officer on hand to talk about game laws etc. See you there.
